I’m Health and Social Affairs Correspondent at The Independent, where I write about housing, education, austerity, inequality, law and criminal justice among other things.
I’ve previously written for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The New Statesman and The Spectator, as well as appearing as a commentator for the BBC and RTE.
From October 2015- July 2016, I’ll also be at Newnham College Cambridge, reading for a Masters in Gender Studies. My studies will primarily be focusing on rape and sexual violence. I’ll be conducting research into why bisexual women experience disproportionately high levels of rape and sexual violence, compared to other social groups.
I’ve previously read BA English at Magdalen College Oxford (2011-2014) and MA Newspaper Journalism at City University London (2014-2015).
